The sun was shining and there’s not a cloud in the sky.
No wonder the good folk of Bolton decided just to sit back and enjoy the view over the town from a terrace in Queen’s Park in the summer of 1961.
From there they could see the town hall, parish church and other landmarks. What do you recognise?
