Firefighters tackle bedroom fire in Queensway, Winsford
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a bedroom fire in Winsford.
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a first floor bedroom at a property in Queensway shortly after 6pm last night.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet.
The electricity supply to the property was isolated and once the fire was out a large fan was used to clear it of smoke.
Three fire engines, two from Winsford and one from Middlewich, dealt with the incident.
Firefighters were at the scene for around two-and-a-half hours.
