Honeybear Nursery & Pre-School on Moss Lane, Hale has re-opened its doors after a major refurbishment.

In line with Government Guidelines, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the Nursery remained open for key-workers.

However, it became unsustainable to keep the Nursery open for a handful of children, and the Nursery was therefore temporarily closed.

Honeybear Director, Bernadetta Devine said: “At the start of the year we were planning how to celebrate opening my first Nursery 30 years ago. It was therefore even more heart-breaking to have to close the Hale Nursery in April. However, I was keen that some good should come from the closure.

"I had wanted to refurbish the Nursery for quite some time and the temporary closure provided a great opportunity to undertake the refurbishment. “We have updated every room within the Nursery, whilst ensuring that we retain our home-from-home feel. We have also developed our external areas, providing bright and stimulating outdoor play areas for our children. “I am really proud of our refurbishment which provides a lovely environment for our children to grow and develop; and my team and I are enjoying seeing children returning to our Nursery.”
