DUE to the coronavirus pandemic and the delivery of vaccinations Knutsford Medical Partnership has a different type of flu clinic depending on age.

The partnership is offering the over-65s three drop-in clinics at Egerton and Shaw Heath, and no appointment is needed. Egerton will have a walk-in and drive-through facility on all dates.

The times of the clinics are as follows, with the slots related to surnames.

Thursday, September 17: 9am to 12pm, surname beginning with A-M, Egerton. 12.30pm to 3.30pm, N-Z, Egerton. 9am to 12pm, N-Z, Shaw Heath. 12.30pm to 3.30pm, A-M, Shaw Heath.

Wednesday, September 23: 9am to 12pm, N-Z, Egerton. 12.30pm to 4pm, A-M, Egerton. 9am to 12pm, A-M, Shaw Heath. 12.30pm to 4pm, N-Z, Shaw Heath.

Tuesday, September 29: 9am to 12pm, A-M, Egerton. 12.30pm to 4pm, N-Z, Egerton. 9am to 12pm, N-Z, Shaw Heath. 12.30pm to 4pm, A-M, Shaw Heath.

Under 65s have appointment-only vaccination clinics (patients from any site can attend any clinic).

These clinics are for at risk patients only, and are as follows: Saturday, October 10, 9am to 12pm, Toft Road; Saturday, October 24, 9am to 12pm, Annandale; Saturday, November 7, 9am to 12pm, Manchester Road.

Patients aged 50 to 64 with no chronic diseases (who are not classed as the usual at risk) will be contacted from December when further vaccine supplies are released.

Children’s flu clinics for patients aged 2-11 to be booked at the patient’s registered practice.

Bookings will be restricted to clinic times due to vaccine delivery and maximum weekly ordering. All the information is on the surgery website and social media pages.
