DRIVERS are facing delays on the A556 towards Manchester following a bus fire this afternoon, September 3.
Access to the A556 from junction 19 of the M6 at Tabley was closed following the fire, but this has since been reopened.
Highways officers and firefighters have been dealing with the incident, which was around half a mile from the Bowdon junction.
Traffic is currently queueing on the A556 and motorists are warned to expect delays this afternoon.
