FIRE crews were called to a house in Knutsford whose roof has been damaged by lightning.
At 10.20am today, Tuesday, firefighters from Knutsford were sent to reports of a dangerous structure on Bexton Road.
On arrival the crew discovered that a house had been struck by lightning overnight, causing damage to the roof.

Firefighters entered the loft space to inspect the damage, and also used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
An aerial appliance from Lymm also attended to inspect the damage from above and ensure there was no further risk of tiles falling off the roof.
The crews were in attendance for two hours and 30 minutes,
