THE popular café at Booths supermarket in Knutsford will be reopening from lockdown on Monday, August 10.

However, there will be a different experience for diners than the one they are used to when it does return next week.

Shoppers will first wait to be seated, and a member of staff will take down a name and number for coronavirus track and trace.

Once seated, diners can then browse the limited menu before queuing at the counter to order and pay only by card or contactless.

A member of staff will then bring the meal out to the table.

Tables are limited to a maximum of four customers, and diners can either turn up on the day or book in advance by calling 07592038272.

The café will be open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
