IF you were watching ITV last night, some of the scenes may have looked rather familiar.

Because drama Tina and Bobby is back on screens as TV schedulers look to fill the gaps caused by the pandemic.

Former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan, and her fellow castmates for the TV programme Tina and Bobby, filmed in Warrington in the summer of 2016.

Starring alongside Grantchester actor Lorne MacFadyen, the drama chronicles the life of legendary England captain Bobby Moore with Michelle playing his wife Tina.

Warrington Guardian:

The show tells the story of the West Ham legend's life with his childhood sweetheart from their humble beginnings to the height of stardom.

Other cast members include David Bamber who took on the role of England manager Alf Ramsey and Patsy Kensit as Tina’s mother Betty.

Filming took place in a variety of locations in Manchester and Warrington with the show's wedding scenes filmed at Rylands in Orford.

Film crews were also spotted at Orford Hotel on Gorsey Lane.

The next episode of Tina and Bobby airs on Wednesday at 9pm.
