POLICE Scotland's control rooms have urged people not to call them for advice on coronavirus.
The 101 and 999 services asked people to check official Government channels for advice.
They also warned that 999 is for emergency calls only and the misuse of the number could put lives at risk.

In a statement, Police Scotland said: "Please do not call 101 for advice on Covid 19 and remember 999 is for emergencies.
"You can find the latest coronavirus information from @scotgov at https://www.gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/
"Misuse of 101/999 could put lives at risk.
"Visit scotland.police.uk/contact-us/ for more ways to get in touch."
