A SITE manager in Winsford is celebrating after winning a prestigious national house building award for the fourth year running.

Danny Jones, site manager at Taylor Wimpey’s Spring Croft development has been honoured with a National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award, from 11,000 entries.

The awards recognise an individual’s dedication to building high quality homes for new homebuyers and are presented following a rigorous judging process by NHBC inspectors.

This includes assessing the developments throughout the year and carrying out spot checks, giving homebuyers the assurance that Taylor Wimpey’s developments provide top-quality homes and excellent customer service.

Danny said: “I’m delighted to have won a Quality Award for the fourth year in a row. We are starting a new phase at Spring Croft and it has been great to see it develop into a community. It makes me very proud to receive a trophy for all the hard work and effort we’ve put in. This is the biggest achievement and recognition I can ask for.

“I’m getting married this year and if I end the year a married man and a seal of excellence winner, I'll be over the moon.”

Anthony Mansfield managing director of Taylor Wimpey North West, said: “We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service and this recognition has ensured that we continue to be an NHBC award-winning housebuilder year after year.

“Danny's quality awards are thoroughly deserved and we’ll all be supporting him as he progresses through to the regional heats and hopefully to the grand final.”

Danny is one of three site managers employed by Taylor Wimpey North West to receive a Pride in the Job Quality Award.

Pride in the Job is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises the significant contribution of site managers who achieve the highest standards in new home construction. It has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for more than three decades.

The competition’s regional events will now take place virtually in the autumn, whilst the Supreme Award winners will be announced in January 2021.
