THE best and worst GP surgeries in Knutsford and Wilmslow, according to patients, have been revealed.

This year’s GP Patient Survey results have been released, with every practice in England ranked against each other for patient satisfaction.

Chelford Surgery and Kntusford Medical Partnership have the joint most satisfied patients in the area, with an impressive 99 per cent of patients surveyed rating the practice as ‘good’ – well above the national average of 82 per cent.

They were closely followed by Kenmore Medical Centre in Wilmslow with 97 per cent of patients grading their surgery as good.

Handforth Health Centre, Manchester Road Medical Centre, Alderley Edge Medical Centre, Toft Road Surgery and Wilmslow Health Centre all had overall satisfaction much higher than the national average.

While The Health Centre in Holmes Chapel was just under the national average with 78 per cent.

Patients also gave their views on specific aspects of their GP surgery, such as how easy it is to get through on the phone.

Chelford Surgery again came out on top with 99 per cent of patients surveyed saying it is ‘easy’ to get through on the phone. At the other end of the spectrum, only 46 per cent of patients The Health Centre in Holmes Chapel said it is easy to get through on the phone.
