FAMILIES are being invited to come and enjoy some fine food in safe surroundings.

The invitation comes from Tatton Group, which is opening up the Ashley Hall showgrounds on July 19 from 11am to 4pm for a new event, The Tatton Social.

A Group spokesman said: “As we find ourselves slowly coming out of the Covid-19 epidemic we want to give people a place to come out within their ‘social bubbles’, have some fine food and enjoy great, safe surroundings.

Knutsford Guardian:

“We’ll be opening up Ashley Hall showgrounds, all 80 acres of it, as well as encouraging all visitors to use surrounding walkways we’re so lucky to have around the area.

“Based on our hardstanding area of Ashley Hall, we will have a great choice of food and drinks vendors to choose from, accompanied by a large picnic-style eating area, with over 80 picnic benches to use.

Knutsford Guardian:

“For our first event we will have a small number of fairground rides for children to enjoy which will be based on our field area, as well as small market stalls for people to browse.”

Cars are £5 each to park and pedestrians and cyclists are admitted free. For more information visit tattonsocial.co.uk, and for information on Covid-19 measures being taken to safeguard guests visit tattonevents.co.uk/covid-19-guidance
