PICCOLINO Knutsford manager Danilo Belloni can't wait to welcome back guests to the restaurant as it prepares to reopen on Saturday.

Piccolino is to reopen on July 4 in Manchester, Didsbury, Bramhall, Alderley Edge, Hale, Knutsford and Chester as lockdown restrictions ease.

Bookings are now open, with carefully-prepared safety measures and new features in place.

Danilo said: "We can't wait to open the doors at Piccolino Knutsford once again.

"We've been blown away by the response to news of our reopening and are looking forward to being reunited with our wonderful guests."

Reservations are subject to government guidelines, with guest safety the restaurant’s number one priority.

Among the new measures are safe dining, wellness checks, cleaning and sanitising, hand sanitiser, no touch ordering and at table service.

Safety notices will be posted throughout restaurants and are available to view or download on the Club Individual app and website.

Guest bills will be presented in a contact-free, sanitised wallet, with a contact-free payment method requested wherever possible.

Guests are requested to ensure social distancing on leaving the restaurant, and complimentary sanitising towels are available to take away.

Designated safe areas for 2GO collections have been created at all restaurants and can offer a fully contactless collection and delivery service.

Designated safe areas have also been created for the restaurant’s Deliveroo partners.

The restaurant team has been re-trained regarding the frequency and method for effective handwashing and about enhanced restaurant cleaning and hygiene protocols.

New opening times will be in operation across all restaurants to ensure compliance with all safety and wellness protocols.

Giuseppe Pinto, regional operations manager at Piccolino, said: “After what has been and continues to be a difficult time for everyone, we are pleased to share a little good news and announce we will reopen on Saturday, July 4.

“The welfare of our guests and our team is of the utmost importance to all at Piccolino and our number one priority.

Knutsford Guardian:

"The safety measures are just an introduction to the lengths we are going to, to create beautiful, safe dining spaces for our guests to enjoy.

“We look forward to welcoming the return of our loyal guests at our restaurants across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, and to inviting them to experience our new summer piazzas.”

Guests are encouraged to book online with the restaurant’s online booking portals (website and app), open 24/7.

Restaurant bookings will be staggered to ensure there is a safe distance maintained between guests and staff at all times.
