SIGNAGE proudly displaying the Radio Northwich logo above its future home has been approved by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The community radio station launched online in May 2018 and broadcasts a mix of presenter and listener-led music shows 24-hours a day.

It was revealed in January that the station would be moving to Barons Quay, taking up a currently vacant unit in-between Card Factory and The Coffee House.

Northwich Guardian:

The illuminated sign will sit on the glass front of the unit, with additional vinyl lettering also set to be affixed to the inside of the window at a later date.

After announcing the move to Barons Quay, radio partner John Thompson said: “To be in the heart of the town centre whilst being just yards from our roots is exactly what the station needs to take it to the next level.

“We thank Cheshire West and Cheshire Council and the Barons Quay management team for working with us to make this possible."
