PIZZA Express has announced it is reopening its restaurants in Knutsford and Wilmslow for dine-in customers on Thursday, July 9.
With Government guidelines now allowing restaurants to open from July 4 with certain safety measures for staff and customers, the popular pizzeria chain has confirmed plans to reopen 46 of its restaurants.
Knutsford’s King Street restaurant and Wilmslow’s Alderley Road restaurant are on the list of those first restaurants set to reopen in two weeks’ time.
Pizza Express managing director Zoe Bowley said: “Following a successful trial of delivery-only and click-and-collect services in 13 of our pizzerias in London, and the latest advice from the government, we are delighted to announce the first 46 of our pizzerias that will be reopening for dine-in customers from the beginning of July.
As required by Government guidelines, however, there will be ‘extensive’ safety measures in place.
Ms Bowley added: “The extensive safety measures we have in place across all reopened pizzerias will allow us to provide the full Pizza Express experience that our customers have come to love, in a safe and responsible way, as we work to gradually bring back our freshly handmade pizza to even more locations in the near future.”
