WILDLIFE lover Jo Lowe has turned her passion for photographing the animals and birds which visit her garden into a business.
Jo, 41, lives in Marthall, and her garden attracts a wealth of wildlife, including foxes, rabbits, hedgehogs, a variety of birds and birds of prey including sparrowhawks.
She launched her business, Jo Lowe Photography, last week, offering her images of wildlife on calendars, cards, coasters, jigsaws and keyrings.
Below are some of Jo's photographs
The products are available through Jo’s website and Facebook page.
“I love photography and wildlife, and to put both together is a dream come true,” said Jo, who is a volunteer with the Cheshire Badger Vaccination Programme.
“We get a lot of wildlife around here, and many of the pictures I take are of animals and birds which visit our garden.
“I have a particular passion for rabbits and hares, which are my favourite subject for photographing.
“Rabbits have been my passion since I was nine, and in the last 32 years there has been only a two-year gap when I haven’t had pet rabbits.
“I have a house rabbit, Molly, who I’ve had for eight years and is 10 now and has her own bedroom.
“So many people have a pet rabbit kept in a small hutch at the bottom of the garden, and they just don’t see the personality of the rabbit because it can’t do anything when its stuck in a hutch.”
Jo is hoping local businesses will stock her products, and for more information visit jo's website, facebook at Jo Lowe Wildlife Photography or email info@jolowephotography.co.uk
