MORE than 130 patients have now died from coronavirus at East Cheshire NHS Trust sites, including Macclesfield Hospital.
A total of 131 deaths from Covid-19 have now been recorded at the trust’s sites as of 5pm on Saturday, June 20.
That is an increase of four more deaths from coronavirus from the same time last week, when 127 deaths had been recorded.
The most recent deaths were recorded by the trust by 5pm on Friday and announced yesterday, with no further deaths announced today, June 21.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with some deaths from coronavirus taking longer to appear in the data.
Across England, there have now been 28,318 deaths from Covid-19 recorded by NHS hospital trusts.
