A GRADE II Listed tower house in Knutsford is on the market for someone looking for a unique home with amazing views.
The tower house in Drury Lane, which is this week's Guardian Property of the Week, dates back to around 1900 and was built under the patronage of Richard Harding Watt.
According to Historic England, the tower formed part of a complex including laundry and workers' cottages, established by Watt on the site of a tannery.
In present day, the five-storeyed tower is converted into domestic use.
With an Austere style and small square windows set deep into the walls, the history of the building is well-maintained, also seen in its arched entrance and flambouyant wrought-iron hinges.
Savills estate agent in Knutsford is now offering the property on the market with a guide price of £675,000.
It has five bedrooms, one bathroom and additional WC, with two sitting rooms.
