IT is 10 years since the opening of Warrington's newest church.
And the Blessed John Henry Newman Church in Latchford is believed to be the only one in the country with that name.
The first service took place in June 2010.
The building came about after the merger of two parishes in Latchford, St Mary's and St Augustine's.
The new church on Knutsford Road has space for 400 worshippers.
Here are pictures from the first service, taken by photographer Mike Boden.
