A WOMAN was rescued after falling down a brook into a stream in Alderley Edge earlier this evening.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Brook Lane at 5.20pm. They helped the woman to her feet and walked her to the top of the brook.
She did not require medical treatment.
The crew were at the scene for around 25 minutes.
