WEDDING photographer Louise Cuppello took on her most tricky assignment yet when she snapped Lego characters on their big day.

Like many people at the moment Louise, from Goostrey, is in lockdown, and to raise a smile decided to create a lockdown wedding out of Lego characters.

With the help of her eight-year-old son Charlie they painstakingly put together a series of scenes to create a storyboard for her Facebook business page.

Knutsford Guardian:

Charlie, who goes to Mobberley Primary School, dropped confetti, which was from Louise’s wedding last year, over the happy Lego couple, for one of the scenes, and used a hosepipe for a shot of the newly-weds caught in a shower.

“Charlie has two massive boxes of Lego, and helped me to build the wedding scenes,” said Louise.

Knutsford Guardian:

“It was really a bit of fun, and I wanted to mark that we had done something in lockdown. People like to see things like this just to brighten the day.

“There was lots to it, and Charlie helped me to build the wedding ceremony.

“There are all the normal elements of a wedding day in the scenes, including the bride and bridegroom prep, the first dance, the sparkler shot and the sunset scene.

Knutsford Guardian:

“In one of the scenes the bridegroom is getting nervous, and is holding up a sign saying ‘Help’.

“Donald Duck was the only guy in a suit we could get walking the bride down the aisle, and there are so many mismatches.

Knutsford Guardian:

“We didn’t have a bride and groom party, so even the groomsmen look like rogues, they are like men in little leather jackets.

“The whole thing took absolutely ages to do because the Lego pieces are little fiddly things, but it was really good fun.”
