KNUTSFORD town councillor and GP, Elizabeth Beswick, says many lives will be saved if people stay at home during the lockdown.
Cllr Beswick is encouraging people to follow the government and NHS advice on coronavirus.
Cllr Beswick works at Waters Edge Medical Centre in Middlewich, and has donated a banner to the council to help reinforce the life-saving message.
She said: "It is so important everyone follows Government guidelines and stays at home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

"It is heart-breaking to hear the stories of families who have been impacted by this disease.
"It is so contagious. Please do stay at home and many lives will be saved."
