A NORTHWICH man accused of murdering 72-year-old John Hammerton in Castle has pleaded not guilty.
Gary Solomon, 55, of Castle Court, appeared at Chester Crown Court last week, facing a charge of murder.
Solomon was arrested in October last year after Mr Hammerton was found dead at his home in Peckforton Way on October 8.

Solomon was later charged with the murder in February.
Appearing in court last week, Solomon entered a plea of not guilty and his trial was fixed for July.
