BLOOR Homes, which has its north west regional head office in Holmes Chapel, has donated more than 1,300 new facemasks and goggles to the NHS to help protect them against coronavirus.

A company spokesman said: "During this extraordinary time no-one is working harder and more tirelessly than UK’s frontline services, and the demand continues for equipment to help these exceptional people deliver the vital care and services that are needed.

"The NHS is desperately in need of face protection equipment. With its sites across the UK now closed, Bloor Homes has donated more than 1,330 new facemasks and goggles to NHS teams across the UK.

"We hope that this will play a small part in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 and help those whose dedication deserves our full praise and gratitude."
