PERMISSION has been granted for a chiropody clinic to open at a town hall building.
A planning application was submitted to change the use of ground floor offices on Corporation Street, St Helens to a chiropody clinic.
Proposals, drawn up by applicant Fergus Ryan, sought to create the clinic.
Plans said: "We wish to change the use of the downstairs of 95-97 Corporation Street, St Helens from general office use to D1 health clinic use. The reason is that we plan to open a chiropody clinic here. we have purchased the property recently."
Plans add that the clinic would create three full-time and two part-time positions. Opening hours would be 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
Planning officers have given plans the green light.
