HOLMES Chapel DIY and hardware store Morreys is remaining open, but operating via call and collect and home deliveries.
The firm said: “We have learned that the DIY and hardware store sector has been categorised as an essential retailer by the government.
“We are now working out the safest and simplest way to support communities in providing only essential products moving forwards.
“We are still open; however, while customers are still welcome to come to the store you will be unable to come inside.
“To keep our customers and staff safe we are operating a call and collect service and home deliveries.
“Where possible please ring through your order, we will take payment over the phone and get it ready for you to collect/arrange a delivery.”
