KNUTSFORD resident John Farnon's photos of a deserted King Street at 10.10pm last night show the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on life in the town.
He took the pictures at the same time of night as photos he snapped in King Street on Christmas Day, when it was equally quiet in town.

John said: "The reason I took the Christmas Day ones was that I was walking home from my girlfriend's house and thought - you never see King Street so quiet.

"Last night’s photos were at pretty much exactly the same time, making the same walk, and the similarity struck me.
"I think the lack of people is good - maybe we are taking heed of the advice given."
