ONE of Knutsford's most popular events has been cancelled because of the coronavirus outbreak.
The Bunny Hop was due to take place on Saturday, April 11, but has been called off by Knutsford Town Council.
Alex Brown, the council's events officer said: "It is with a heavy heart that we have made the tough decision to cancel this year's Bunny Hop.
"We were hopeful due to the outdoor and casual nature of this event that we would be able to still go ahead, but given the situation due to the COVID-19 outbreak and advice to encourage social distancing, it will not be possible for us to continue with this event.
"We are exploring options for online Easter activities for families to partake in as an alternative and offer some entertainment while many are housebound for the foreseeable future.
"We will bring this event back in all its glory in 2021 and look forward to hopefully running our events programme as normal in the second half of this year."
