FIREFIGHTERS spent eight hours tackling an industrial blaze in Woolston last night.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Kingsland Grange shortly after 6.15pm yesterday, Thursday, after a fire started in an industrial skip at a business premises.
This 20ft skip contained plastic materials, and crews used 100 litres of foam to extinguish the blaze.
Three fire engines attended the scene, including one from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters spent eight hours in the area before handing the incident over to on-site personnel.
