FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Weaverham after an external electrical cable caught fire this morning, Wednesday.
One fire engine from Northwich Fire Station was dispatched to Forster Avenue shortly before 9.15am after receiving reports of the blaze.
On arrival, the crew used a dry powder extinguisher to put the fire out and isolated the power.
They then checked the area for hotspots with a thermal imaging camera.
