QUIZ master Mark Radcliffe is to put people’s knowledge to the test at Knutsford Market Hall in aid of The Christie Charity.

The Radio 2 and 6 DJ will be putting the questions at the charity quiz night on Thursday, April 9.

Doors will open from 7pm, with a 7.30pm start, and tickets will cost £5 per person.

There will be a prize raffle, plus food and drink available from The Market Café and Morgan Edwards Fine Wines and Spirits. All proceeds on the night will go to The Christie Charity.

Sandra Curties, town centre manager, said: “This will be our second quiz night, and we are really looking forward to it.

“Cancer and cancer treatment are close to everyone’s hearts, and we are delighted to be working with representatives from the Altrincham, Sale and Knutsford fundraising group for The Christie.

“We are also grateful to Mark Radcliffe for giving up his valuable time to support us, and big thanks also to The Buddha Group for the loan of tables and benches.”

Due to the layout of the market hall tickets must be bought before the event via Knutsford Town Council on 01565 653929 or at Style Loft Boutique in the market hall.

Knutsford Market Hall is open every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8am to 4pm. The Market Café also opens on Wednesday.
