A TOUCHING tale inspired by a true story has started its run at Northwich Memorial Court – with tickets still on sale.

The Mid Cheshire Musical Theatre Company opened 'Made in Dagenham' at Memorial Court last night, Wednesday, through to Saturday.

Inspired by a true story and based on the hit movie, Made in Dagenham is the uplifting new British musical comedy about friendship, love and the importance of fighting for what is right.

Funny, touching and timeless, Made in Dagenham shows how ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they stand together.

Adapted from the 1990s film and true story of the 1960s female Ford women workers and their fight for equal pay rights, the production offers a blend of strong messages and fabulous comedy.

Join Rita O’Grady and her colleagues in the fight for equality – a timely reminder that 2020 marks 50 years since the Equal Pay amendment was passed.

Doors open each night at 7pm fora 7.30pm start.

Tickets are £16 adults and £14 concessions, available from ticketsource.co.uk

A group ticket is also available at £45.

The show follows on from the company's successful productions last year including Evita and Spamalot – bringing in a raft of NODA award nominations.
