Residents at RMBI Care Co. Home Queen Elizabeth Court, in Llandudno, have enjoyed a magical day of storytelling, thanks to pupils from Ysgol Aberconwy.

The children visited the Home as part of National Storytelling Week. Some of the children read stories they had written themselves, while others read classic stories. One kind-hearted young girl brought in some pictures of all the places she’d visited with her family over the years. While one of the residents told the children about growing up on the south coast during the Second World War, which they loved.

Gary Carr, activities coordinator at Queen Elizabeth Court, said: “It has been a really moving experience for our residents. They absolutely loved listening to the children reading so beautifully. It was so heart warming to hear that it brought a tear to the eyes of some of our residents. The children were so enthusiastic and willing to share their stories.” RMBI Home Queen Elizabeth Court is run by RMBI Care Co., part of the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
