FIRE crews attended a kitchen fire in Orchard Crescent, Nether Alderley, at about 12.30pm today (Friday).
Fire engines attended from Wilmslow and Macclesfield, and crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames before using a large fan to ventilate the area.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said it was believed the fire involved clothing which was left near to the cooker. There were no injuries.
