Following severe gales during Storm Ciara, Storm Dennis is set to bring gusts of 50mph with up to 60mph in some places.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning from midday on Saturday to midnight the same day.
A spokesman added: "Storm Dennis will bring very strong winds and potential for disruption to many parts of England and Wales on Saturday.
"Gusts of 50 mph are expected widely inland, with around 60 mph in places.
"Around the coasts, especially in the west and south, gusts of 60-70 mph are likely.
