TWO cars and a van were involved in a crash in Macclesfield Road, Holmes Chapel, at 7.45pm last night (Saturday).

Two fire engines attended - one from Holmes Chapel and one from Sandbach.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Two males were extricated from one of the vehicles and handed into the care of paramedics.

"They were then taken to hospital. The road was temporarily closed by police in both directions. Crews were in attendance for one hour."
