FIRE crews from Knutsford, Lymm and Bollington worked together to rescue a sheep which had fallen down an inspection drain in a field in Mere.
The crews were called to Moss Lane at 5.14pm on Friday. They used animal straps and lines to rescue the sheep, before returning it to the farmer. They were at the scene for just under an hour.
