A CONVENIENCE store in Whitecross is set to be transformed into a dessert café.
Continental Bazaar, a grocery store on Lovely Lane, will become a dessert café and restaurant under an application for planning permission submitted to Warrington Borough Council.
The application was approved despite concerns from residents.
One said they were concerned about the impact on existing cafes in the area while another said parking would be a problem so close to the Pink Eye roundabout.
Proposed works at the site by applicant Umer Zeb, from Chapelford, will involved the installation of seating booths and a serving counter.
