A HEAVY defeat to a side who hadn’t won at home since last October produced the inevitable online anger from City fans.
Many were calling for manager Gary Bowyer to be sacked following his side’s 3-0 surrender at Mansfield Town, while others had names for his replacement already lined up.
But one tweet, from Bantams winger Harry Pritchard, probably best summed up the mood.
Very easy to speak/tweet when winning & very easy to keep quiet when losing but today was dog***t from everyone of us. We have to hold our hands up & make sure that never happens again. Can only apologise hugely to the fans! Stick together & make things right Tuesday 👊⚽

Here are a selection of fans’ tweets from this weekend:
Steve Coulter: “With the current going ons at the club, the last thing we need is to be living in the past. The current team aren’t fit to lace the old team’s boots, let alone share a pint with them. Concentrate on the now.”
Bantams Heritage: “Just in case you’re not quite feeling bad enough after today, the fact #bcafc couldn’t even muster a shot on target today means that n our last two games – 180 minutes of football – we have had a grand total of ONE shot on target.”

Keith Wildman: “Really do wonder what went wrong yesterday. #bcafc have gone from being a bit boring but getting points to boring and conceding , to abject. Downhill since trying to fit Doyle back in. Never a fan of changing managers, but something very badly wrong yesterday.”
Bantam Pete: “Huge disappointment yesterday for all #bcafc fans who turned up in anticipation and expectation. Given the mood I reckon that the team have the next two games to keep the gaffer in his job when it has to be six points.”
Gavin Benecke: “If you’re a team in trouble and who play in League 2 and haven’t won in ages. Simply wait until you play Bradford City as they will be happy to help end a winless run.”
Ian Baker: “Is it now imperative that we bring in a solid positive, attack-minded midfielder before the window closes to save our season?”
Nikki Palmer: My faith and optimism are starting to waiver. I’m usually one to say stability is key and changing management is not the answer but after today, I’m not so sure. Shocking result.”
But one fan did see the funny side of City's trip to Mansfield on Saturday, while Bantams Rewind took comfort from a past glory on that same day 23 years ago;
