A BRADFORD primary school celebrated the launch of its new library last week.
On 22 January, Knowleswood Primary School, Holme Wood, welcomed Bradford Council members to the opening.
Clare Cosgrove, Head of School, said, "Reading is a priority at Knowleswood. Our school community deserves a special place where they can spend quality time and share books with each other."
Laura Lee, School Council and English Lead, said, "Our aim is for children to discover new interests and to be inspired by words. They will gain knowledge to use in lessons, improving progress and attainment."
Priscilla Mulond, School Council member, said, "It's a welcoming space we can enjoy with our friends and teachers. I’m excited to read and discover new authors I didn’t know about."
