EMERGENCY services have issued a warning to drive carefully as Cheshire endures an icy start to the day.
A number of crashes have been reported across the network this morning, Saturday.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "The roads are pretty challenging this morning due to the icy conditions.
"So please take care and take your time if you’re going to be travelling this morning."

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service added: "The roads out there are very icy this morning.
"Please take care and think about whether you really need to make that journey this morning."
