Firefighters tackle house fire on Park Lane in Sandbach
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire at around 8.20am this morning.
Crews found there was a small amount of smoke coming from the airing cupboard inside a house on Park Lane in Sandbach.
Following investigations with a thermal imaging camera firefighters discovered a fire in a former back boiler concealed in the wall.
Crews removed a small amount to brick work and extinguished the fire.
Firefighters were detained at the incident for around one hour.
