THE NHS trust that runs Leighton Hospital will take over the private hospital on the same site next month.
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust announced last February it intended to acquire South Cheshire Private Hospital, currently run by BMI Healthcare.
At Monday’s board meeting, the trust confirmed it is set to complete the deal on Friday, February 14.
Improvement works are set to be carried out at the private hospital after the deal has been completed.
Plans for how the private hospital will be managed by the trust were due to be discussed by the board in a private meeting on Monday afternoon.

The deal is not expected to be affected by the anticipated sale of BMI Healthcare to Circle Health, board members were told.
