VALVE manufacturer Oliver Valves is celebrating winning a £2 million order.

The company, which is based at Parkgate Industrial Estate, Knutsford, has secured an order to supply more than 400 valves for subsea applications in Norway.

The programme of valve deliveries for this major project will start in June 2020, and continue through to August.

Oliver Valves managing director Colm Kane said: "Oliver’s order book continues to grow at a fast rate as confidence in the oil and gas market returns.

“Winning this order has further justified our ambitious investment plans to increase business capacity levels.

“The investment includes the now completed £1 million revamp of our R&D facilities, the purchase of a new 20,000 square foot factory which will be ready around September 2020, new test equipment and a continual recruitment programme, with currently more than 30 vacancies still live.”

Mr Kane added that the company with which Oliver Valves had secured the £2 million order had been impressed with its price competitiveness and high-tech product, and had also indicated a desire to further strengthen its strategic partnership with Oliver Valves going forward.
