POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a driver after a girl was knocked down at a zebra crossing.
Emergency services were called to Bedells Lane in Wilmslow - next to The Carters Arms - around 4pm on Thursday, December 12.
Thankfully, she was not seriously injured, but it now appears a witness gave incorrect details at the scene.

"Thankfully, the young female is not seriously injured but we would very much like to trace the driver.
"A witness did stop and pass a vehicle registration, but this appears to be incorrect.
