MORE than 100 residents enjoyed a school production of Grease at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School.
The school invited members of the community to attend the show, and was overwhelmed by the response.
The school welcomed residents from nursing homes, grandparents, local residents and everyone involved in the Dane Valley Bridge the Gap project, which helped to organise the event.
The visitors enjoyed lunch with the cast after the show, and £280 was raised by the audience for the Brain Tumour Charity.
A Bridge the Gap member said: “Everyone was so impressed with the whole event, from the invitations, help with transport, marshalling, car parking, reception, the show itself, the performers, the lunch and the cast.
“The students were fantastic ambassadors in every respect. Thank you to everyone who made the event possible. You have made such a difference to so many people.”
