BIRCHWOOD College students were delighted when Warrington Wolves players surprised them at their Christmas market.
To get into the festive spirit students ran a Birchwood College Christmas Market with refreshments and gifts when some unexpected visitors arrived.
A spokesperson for the college said: "The stalls were outside the college at break and lunch selling a variety of goods such as sweets and biscuits, including some lovely homemade shortbreads and hot drinks.
"They also had a great idea to make Christmas prep easy for staff, selling ready-made Christmas Eve boxes, with lots of lovely treats for little ones that just needed a pair of special Christmas Eve Pjs adding… genius!
"To add to the excitement, Warrington Wolves first team who train on our 3G pitch decided to join us to sign some autographs and pose for some selfies.
"Well done to all the students involved- they certainly brought Christmas to Birchwood."
