FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire in a garden.
Crews were called to reports of smoke drifting across the Shell petrol station on Holmes Chapel Road in Middlewich shortly before midnight last night.
The smoke was coming from a pallet being burned in a nearby front garden, with the wind blowing embers towards the forecourt.
Firefighters used a hose reel to put the fire out.
