Wilmslow firefighters tackle car fire in Great Warford
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car fire in Great Warford.
A crew from Wilmslow were initially called to reports of a building on fire on Merrymans Lane at 10.30pm last night.
They arrived to find it was in fact a saloon care that was on fire.
The vehicle was well alight and crews used a single hose reel to put the fire out.
A fire investigation established that the car had been deliberately set alight.
A home safety investigation was carried out at the property before the crew left.
