FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a smoke alarm sounding at a conferencing centre attached to a hotel in Church Street, Wilmslow, just after 2am yesterday (Friday).
The crew searched the building with the aid of a thermal imaging camera and found no signs of a fire. The alarm is believed to have been caused by steam from a shower.
